Welcome to House of Peach
My name is Peirrce, but you can call me Peach. I am the Founder and Executive Director of House of Peach Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to empowering women, strengthening sisterhood, and connecting aspiring and established female entrepreneurs with the community, information, inspiration, and opportunities they need to grow.
House of Peach was created from a deeply personal place. I have always cared about Black women with entrepreneurial dreams who may not have access to professional networks, mentorship, business education, funding, or a supportive community encouraging them to keep moving forward. Many women have the vision, talent, and determination to build something meaningful, but access is often the missing piece. I understand that because I come from that experience.
The Entrepreneurial Spirit Was Always Around Me
Growing up in East Orange, New Jersey, I knew early that I wanted something different for my life. I did not always understand what entrepreneurship looked like, but I knew I wanted opportunities beyond what I could see around me. Like many people, I was taught that the traditional path to success was to get an education, find a good job, work hard, and build a stable life.
At home, however, I was being introduced to another kind of education. My grandparents were entrepreneurs in the most practical and resourceful sense. They understood how to turn what they had into an opportunity. They sold food platters, provided childcare, and found creative ways to generate additional income. My grandfather even operated a mobile clothing business from a van and was paid to pick up groceries for people long before services such as Uber and modern delivery apps became part of everyday life.
They were entrepreneurs before terms such as startup, side hustle, personal brand, and gig economy became common. They had ideas, determination, and the ability to hustle. What they did not always have was access to the knowledge required to turn a hustle into a sustainable business.
How do you structure a business? How do you build a brand, secure financing, market your services, protect your work, and create a plan for growth? How do you pass that knowledge to the next generation when no one ever taught it to you? Those questions stayed with me, and they are part of the reason House of Peach exists today.
We want women to have more than a dream. We want them to have access to the information, conversations, resources, relationships, and encouragement that can help them turn that dream into something real and sustainable.
Sisterhood Helped Me Achieve
Sisterhood is another important part of my story. Through a friendship that has lasted more than 20 years with my best friend, pictured standing beside me, I learned what genuine support between women can look like. We have encouraged each other through failed relationships, personal endeavors, life changes, disappointments, accomplishments, and the challenges that come with navigating life.
That relationship taught me that you do not always need someone to do something for you. Sometimes you need someone who believes you can do it. You need someone who reminds you who you are when you forget, celebrates your success without feeling threatened by it, and tells you the truth while still standing beside you as you work through the situation.
If two women can support each other through more than two decades of life, imagine what can happen when we intentionally create a community of women committed to doing the same for one another. That is the kind of sisterhood I envision for House of Peach: a community where women can build relationships, exchange knowledge, share opportunities, and grow without feeling as though they have to compete for space.
So How Are We Going to Do It?
The answer is simple: together.
House of Peach is creating digital and real-world opportunities for women to learn, connect, share their experiences, and grow. Through our online platforms and community, we provide entrepreneurial information, resources, personal-development conversations, blogs, interviews, and stories from women who are actively doing the work.
Through H.O.P. the Series, we speak with female entrepreneurs, community leaders, creatives, professionals, and everyday women with extraordinary stories. These conversations explore entrepreneurship beyond the highlight reel. We discuss the ideas, obstacles, sacrifices, failures, lessons, funding challenges, victories, and decisions that shape a woman’s journey.
We also believe women deserve spaces where they can connect honestly and build relationships beyond business. That is why the vision for House of Peach includes initiatives such as Boss Ladies Lounge, a space focused on connection, collaboration, entrepreneurship, and meaningful conversation among women.
Our programming also includes conversations centered on personal development, resilience, women’s experiences, and the stories of women who have overcome extraordinary circumstances. As House of Peach continues to grow, our programming, partnerships, events, educational resources, and opportunities for involvement will grow with it.
Building More Than Businesses
One of our larger goals is to create opportunities that help women move from simply dreaming about entrepreneurship to financing, launching, and growing their businesses. Information matters. Mentorship matters. Connections matter. Capital matters too.
Building something meaningful requires time, partnerships, community participation, fundraising, sponsorships, and people who believe in the mission. We understand that work, and we are prepared to do it.
House of Peach is not interested in pretending that every woman starts from the same place. Some women have family wealth, professional networks, mentors, business connections, and access to capital before they ever open their first business. Others are starting with an idea, a paycheck, a cell phone, and determination. We want House of Peach to be a place where both women can sit at the same table, access meaningful resources, and be recognized for what they bring to the conversation.
There’s a Seat for You
House of Peach is bigger than any one person, including me. My story may have helped inspire it, but our collective stories will determine what it becomes.
There are many ways women can contribute to this growing community. You can share your expertise, participate in our programming, tell your entrepreneurial story, support another woman’s business, contribute resources, collaborate with us, become involved with our initiatives, or share House of Peach with a woman who needs to know that this community exists.
Every contribution matters. Every connection matters. Every woman we encourage matters.
We are not simply trying to build businesses. We are building confidence, connections, access, and sisterhood. Ultimately, we are building a movement where more women believe they have permission to dream bigger and the support to take meaningful action.
My grandparents taught me how powerful an entrepreneurial spirit could be. My friendships taught me how powerful sisterhood could be. My own journey taught me that having a dream is not always enough. Sometimes you also need information, resources, opportunity, and someone standing beside you saying, “Keep going.”
That is what I want House of Peach to become for women everywhere.
